Alus Aleppo soap is made of olive oil and laurel in variable percentages and is dried for at least 36 months, hence the characteristic color, an indicator of the quality and originality of the product.
The production process begins every year in November, with the olive harvest and the production of oil that is cooked over a low heat. Once cooked, laurel oil is added in different percentages. Once solidified, the soap is cut into characteristic blocks that are stamped and stacked to allow drying.
The characteristic color is given by the natural oxidation of the soap, which preserves its qualities and particular smell, making it a unique product in the world.
Aleppo soap is 100% biodegradable, suitable for all skin types and hypoallergenic.
Laurel oil is an excellent natural anti-inflammatory and antiseptic and is useful for those suffering from acne, psoriasis, dandruff, dermatitis and allergies. Aleppo soap is ideal for shaving and hair removal, excellent as a purifying cosmetic mask for the face and can also be used for laundry.
Aleppo soap with 20% and 40% laurel oil are the basis for the preparation of Alus liquid soaps.
